Day 47 - The Grand Finale

North Conway, NH to Portland, Maine 🌊✨

• 1 unforgettable journey

We did it. Portland, Maine! After 47 days, 3,820 miles, and 161,245 feet of climbing, we officially made it across the country. From dipping our tires in the Pacific in Astoria, Oregon to rolling into Crescent Beach State Park on the Atlantic, it’s hard to find words for what this feels like.

Today was the perfect finale — a golden fall day in the high 70s, the trees at peak color, and not a cloud in the sky. We entered our 15th and final state, Maine, at mile 10, and the beauty just kept unfolding. Around mile 60, our entire group met up for one last pizza-party stop, then rode the final stretch together into Crescent Beach State Park on Cape Elizabeth.

As we reached the ocean, there were tears of joy, gratitude, exhaustion, and pride — so many emotions all at once. I kept thinking of the countless climbs, the laughter, the friendships, the moments of doubt and pure exhilaration — and how lucky I am to have experienced it all.

I am so deeply grateful to Steve and my parents for their unwavering love and support, and to all of you who’ve followed along, sent messages, cheered me on, and believed in me every pedal stroke of the way. Your encouragement has meant more than you could ever know. 💕
